City of Columbus Junction – Official Notice
The City of Columbus Junction would like to inform residents that the City Council has voted and approved an adjustment to the utility meter deposit. Effective 3-5-2026 the required deposit has increased from $100.00 to $200.00.
This deposit applies only to customers who are signing up for new water service or activating service at a new address.
This change reflects a formal decision made by the Council to support the continued reliability and financial stability of our utility services.
