Frequently Asked Questions
Utility Bill Information
Bills are due on the 15th of every month. You can pay by cash, credit card or check. You can stop at the City Hall and make your payments in person or you can call us to make a payment using your debit/credit card. We also have a payment drop off box outside city hall that you can utilize after hours.
You can also sign up for automatic bank payments by printing and returning the form to us. This form is located under our related documents on this page.
To Sign Up For Water/Sewer/Garbage Services
To start services for water/sewer/garbage services you need to fill out an application for services (it is attached under related documents) fill out and bring to City Hall. You will also need to bring a photo ID and $200.00 meter deposit to set up services.
When moving out, remember to let City Hall know as soon as possible to avoid future charges.
Billing Period
Please note we bill a month behind. In the related documents section we have uploaded a table that shows the billing periods.
Higher than normal water bills?
If you have a higher than normal bill, our public works department can easily perform a meter reading at your request. This can help you possibly identify if you have a leak so that you can reach out to a plumber to inspect your residence. It's a free service that we are happy to provide!
